East Kingdom Bardic Champions:
Greetings unto all the East Kingdom performers from the Royal Bardic Champions, Master Grim the Skald and Lord Drake Oranwood. We are pleased to announce that the competition to choose our successors will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Details and schedule to follow.
LETTER OF INTENT
Entrants are REQUIRED to send a letter of intent to Grim (email@example.com) or Drake (firstname.lastname@example.org), NO LATER than 11:59 pm on Saturday, April 7, 2021 (TWO WEEKS before the competition.)
With your letter of intent, please include the following: A RESUME each performer shall submit a brief resume such as would fit on an index card listing the performance types and styles e.g. songs, stories, jests, musical instruments, poetry, improvisation of diverse kinds, etc. They are willing to offer upon request, should the performer reach the finals. Competitors are encouraged to be specific. This gives the performers a chance to display versatility as well as skill; and gives the Consules additional information as they audition their next bardic champions. The competition will be held entirely online via Zoom and be live-streamed on YouTube. Due to current restrictions, an in-person competition is not possible.
War of the Roses:
In the second year of The Wierd Times the people have called for an ethereal gathering to once again do battle in The Wars of the Roses. The Barony of Concordia of the Snows did concur that some semblance of a war should happen.
As such, please put on finery to show your support of great houses of York or Lancaster. We heard rumblings about House Stanley (a cousin or something) so you could support them too (I guess). Once you are properly attired, grab a mug and get comfy to join Their Excellencies Concordia in the interwebs as they find new A&S and Archery champions and hold Baronial court.
There will be classes/demonstrations throughout the day. As well as guild meetings.
*schedule still being determined*
*war points still being determined*
